My name is Rebecca and I am a qualified Amatsu practitioner. I came across Amatsu when I was looking for a career change due to excess stress in my previous job. I have a level 3 diploma in Holistic therapy and decided that I wanted to expand on that. When I heard about Amatsu and how it treats the root cause of the problem rather than just the symptoms, I thought “yes, this is exactly what I want to be doing”. I love learning about human anatomy and physiology which is evident in my BSc Hons in Forensic Science qualification, but most importantly I get most fulfilment out of a job where I am able to help people in need and make a positive difference to their quality of life. Since my Amatsu training began in 2017, I have had many Amatsu treatments myself and it has been the only therapy that has combated the symptoms I was experiencing from a previous car accident in 2014 and I could not wait to be able to use Amatsu to help others the way it has helped me.
I have been practicing Amatsu since 2018. I completed my training with the Amatsu Training School LTD and I am a member of the Amatsu Therapy International UK association (ATI UK) which is part of the Council for Soft Tissue Therapies (GCMT). Being part of ATI UK allows me to keep up to date with my continual professional development (CPD) and professional training that is compliant with National Occupational Standards.
I have completed my emergency first aid at work training as well as CPD in preparing for a post Covid 19 clinic. The health and safety of my clients as well as myself is the most important thing and I have measures in place to ensure my clinic is as safe as it possibly can be.
